Super-happy to be joining one of the most incredibly eclectic festivals in the world. Woodfordia has filled our hearts many times over the years, glad to be bringing something back.

Blues Arcadia are proud to announce the launch of brand new single ‘Remedy’, with an old-school long-play performance at Brisbane’s The Flamin’ Galah on Saturday 11th November, featuring The King Biscuit horns and with special guest Jen Mize.

‘Remedy’ is a song of hope, determination and passion – the same raw materials that Blues Arcadia bring to every live performance, and was recorded entirely live using analogue tape and digital equipment by Steve Robin at the Barn Recording Studios in Laidley, Queensland. It was mastered by Leon Zervos (Santana, Black Crows, Powderfinger) at Studio 301 Sydney.

‘Remedy’ has been pressed as a very limited edition 7” single printed on colour vinyl with artwork by Ben Clark and will be available for purchase on the night. Tickets for the event are available directly from www.bluesarcadia.com/live and via Oztix.

Holy moley, have you seen this line-up? We're not sure where to start frothing exactly, but let's just say that Saturday afternoon at 12:45pm on the Surf Stage is a great place to begin! 

 Proud to be nominated for an Australian Blues Roots Award being held at the Nimbin Roots Festival on Sunday 17th September. We're performing the day before (Saturday 16th) in Nimbin Hall from 2pm. Our first time in the green fields of Aquarius!

Our last interstate tour began in Grafton earlier this year, and it was one of the best crowds we've ever experienced. We can't wait to get back amongst it with some of our favourite people.  Whoa, what a weekend... we are plum tuckered out alright, with a warm and fuzzy inner glow. Thanks to all of the amazing folks who braved the rain or the crowds to come to one of our shows.
